July Report

​

Anchor Church began meeting at the home of one of our members in February of this year. For our first gathering, we had around 30 people in attendance. Since then, God has been working in great ways and we are running over 40 people each week. Some of the recent ways that God has blessed us are:

1.  A business man in our church had planned to expand his business and finished out the basement of his office building. After finishing out this space, he decided not to expand the business and offered the space to the church for free.

2. Several churches in our area have donated old equipment to us, such as a couple speakers, cables, etc.

3. Choice Baptist donated around 200 chairs that have truly been a blessing!

4. We have launched two home groups that meet each week.

5. We have established a leadership team, undergone incorporation, adopted our bylaws, and are actively looking at taking on some missionaries and doing community outreach.

HOW TO PRAY FOR US  

1. Our current space only accommodates around 50 people, so we are beginning the process of looking for other places to meet. 

2. Currently, I lead our worship each week and would like to have others begin helping with the music and eventually run it. 

3. Wisdom moving forward and for opportunities to make an impact for Christ in the community.

Let's remember to pray for them and the VPF as we seek to partner together to fulfill the Great Commission.
